Herbs / Supplements to Take Before a CAT (CT) Scan ~ Supplements to Protect Against CAT-Scan / X-Ray Radiation

A CAT/CT scan is an X-Ray Procedure that combines multiple X-Ray Images with the aid of a Computer to generate cross-sectional views, and, if needed, three-dimensional images of the internal organs and structures of the body. It is a process frequently used to identify tumors or other abnormal developments in target tissues.

With a CAT Scan, also called a CT-Scan (  computerized axial tomography  ), a contrasting agent is either ingested as a pill or injected, these help to illuminate a specific surface area or region that is being examined. This is especially so for intestinal/abdominal CAT-Scan.

The contrasting agents may be beryllium or Iodine, and possibly some other metallic substances (Ionic/Iodized) - these agents have been implicated in contributing to abnormal cell growth or cell reproduction states , but only in very high concentrations (...however, the Scan itself releases a significant amount of Ionized Radiation - moreso than the classical 'X-Ray'.

To take precautions is a very good thing, and many Doc's may not tell you they are necessary. It is , though, imperative that you at least research these things on your own , even if you don't take the advice given in this article or by an Expert in the Field.

There are 5 supplements that can protect against the harmful effects of radiation, actually, much greater than that which is given off by the CT-scan; these herbs can actually remedy much more severe forms of Radiation.
