Pro's/Con's or Positives/Negatives of Using Amisulpride for Mood Elevation / Energy Booster Etc

Positives or Benefits of Amisulpride for Energy / Creativity / Alertness

  • Increases hedonic capacity, including emotional drive and motivation towards social tasks.
  • Rejuvenates old-found passions and ideas.
  • Increases sense of self and personality.
  • Increases mental flexibility.
  • Increases feelings of ''inspiration'' and fighting for a cause seems more enjoyable.
  • Enhances overall Resilience.
  • Removes distractions and increases mental clarity.

Negatives or Side-Effects of Amisulpride.
  • No real negative effects while on it, though you have to watch Prolactin level so it is advisable to take high dose B6 with it.
  • Doses above 35 MG are unnecessary and seem to cause Anxiety / Restlessness, and over-attention to environment (for me at least). [50 mg and up can cause tiny 'skin' muscle twitches which can resemble spasms, or even heart palpitations for some people]
  • You have to take it with a little Caffeine to notice any real benefits.
  • The days going off of it it seems you need more Caffeine to get back to ''normal''.
  • Vitamin B12 loading is advisable upon going off / discontinuing.
  • Can lower blood pressure and heart rate, caution is advised if you already have low blood pressure or low heart rate, then you should avoid Amisulpride.

UPDATE 2/22/2017
  • Tried Amisulpride again for another few days, as always, I love the effects of it for the time duration while taking it (25 mg ED for 4-5 days), but after the 4th and 5th day, it seemed to lower my DIASTOLIC blood pressure to around 55 ...this is not something I'm comfortable with, so as always, I usually stop the amisulpride at this point and resume at a later time.
  • This paper also mentions case-reports of patients who take Amisulpride, and notice reductions in heart rate and blood pressure.
  • My heart rate is normal at this point, but if diastolic pressure continues to decrease, then this medication will be stopped - this reinforces amisulpride as a low-dose short-term mood booster, but not to be take every single day of the week, always take 2 - 3 days off at least.
NOTE: The muscle twitches described in the bullets are less likely if you have a 'clean' diet and are not dehydrated, or have magnesium or potassium deficiency; REMEMBER if you are taking Amisulpride you should be taking Magnesium, and potassium should be supplemented with preferably, and especially so if you do not get enough in your diet (Avocado, Spinach, Banana's etc).

Potassium and Magnesium can help to prevent both the muscle symptoms (twitches, jerky movements, akathisia) and the QTc / heart rhythm related side-effects of Amisulpride, which are usually rare but can occur with prolonged use or higher doses...these side-effects usually do not occur however I do not take the drug for extended periods of time but I have noticed tiny muscle twitches which are only distracting if I pay close attention to them.

My EKG/ECG's were negative for QT-interval changes but my heart rate did go down a little bit on this medication. Diastolic blood pressure (bottom number) did drop a little bit as well, it created diastolic hypotension only on two separate occasions and only on prolonged use, but to be fair, I eat a lot of Garlic and Vitamin C in diet so it could be the combination of factors.

::Other Notes::

Should not be taken with other medications that prolong the QT interval, in other words, do not use Amisulpride with other medicines that affect heart rhythm. Amisulpride itself, at low doses, should not cause any issues, but it's best to always be prepared for anything, high-doses have been known to prolong QTc interval and moderate doses (>100 mg) can prolong it.

The drug is generally safe if used below 100 mg and has tremendous benefits on emotional functions, mood, sense of humanity, sense of being 'alive', and being able to enjoy activities. In that sense, Amisulpride works better than any other drug, in or outside of its class, easily.

It should not be combined with any SSRI's, certainly not with other antipsychotic agents, and definitely not with beta-blockers or other cardiac medications.

The Definite Role of Serotonin Excess & Deficiency in Psychiatric Disorders

Serotonin has consistently played a large role in mental illness [1] [2] [3]. However, the role that serotonin plays has been disputed, and research has shown that both excessive levels and deficient levels can contribute to onset of mental illness [4] [5].

The severity of certain disorders such as Generalized Anxiety and Obsessive-Compulsive-Disorder is also directly related to Serotonin status and levels in healthy individuals and Physically ill individuals [6] [7] [8] [9].

Personality traits are also influenced by serotonin levels, and increased serotonin tends to lead to callousness in individuals with Antisocial personality disorder.

CONDITIONS THAT ARE RELATED TO ELEVATED SEROTONIN LEVELS INCLUDE...
Elevated = Moderately High

DISPUTE  : Why are SSRI's used to treat OCD/Anxiety then?

ANSWER : Simply because, researchers haven't really discovered all of the actions of SSRI's until now, and ''therapeutic response'' often correlates with SSRI-induced downregulation of serotonin receptors and often, to increases in allopregnenolone levels which then enhance endogenous (naturally produced) GABA levels.

Downregulation means that the receptors have decreased in number within one or more regions of the brain.

Therefore, and due to Selective-Serotonin-Reuptake-Inhibitor (SSRI) induced desensitization of other receptors, besides the ones it downregulates, the net (total, summed) effect of SSRI's is actually a long-term anti-serotonin effect on multiple brain regions and an effective 'redirection' or redistribution of the serotonin levels that remain enhanced.

Effect of long-term administration of antidepressant treatments on serotonin release in brain regions involved in obsessive-compulsive disorder.

5-HT1B Receptors and More General Insights into Serotonin Role in Mental Disorders

Additionally, 5-HT1B (Serotonin-Receptor 1B) function is increased in obsessive-compulsive disorder and decreased in Cocaine-dependence [24] [25].

This outlines the viability of receptor research in understanding and treating these disorders.

Being that 5-HT(1)B receptors and their function correlate to Serotonin Transporter (SERT) activity [26] [27] [28], and SERT essentially recycles our brains serotonin [29] [30] and removes it from activity, it would make sense that this key receptor would be heavily involved with the pathophysiology of these various mental disorders [31] [32].

Serotonin Transporters are altered in lovers, as Romantic love has shown to produce dramatic reductions in Serotonin Transporters.

CONDITIONS RELATED TO SEROTONIN DEFICIENCY (Low Levels) INCLUDE...

  • Impulsive-Aggressive Behavior [33].
  • Compulsive Eating/Poor Control of Appetite [34]
  • Depressive Disorders where Despair and Agitation predominate [35].
  • Sexual Deviance, Compulsive Sexual Acts [36].
  • Sociopathy (as opposed to Psychopathy which can include increased versus decreased serotonin; these types are impulsive rather than calculating, generally) [37] [38].
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Specific research seems to indicate the the low levels of serotonin also correlate with Manic binges in BiPolar disorder patients [!].

Genes related to this phenomenon seem to include the  rs25531 & rs25532 SERT/SLC6A4 variants which are essentially serotonin transporter abnormalities and polymorphisms [!] which cause the Protein to act differently than in normal individuals [!]. Since once again, serotonin transporters (SERT) recycle serotonin from the synapse, any variant (i.e SERT I425V, I425L and G56A) that causes low levels of the Protein may also cause high levels of brain serotonin regardless of blood level of serotonin [!].

TREATMENT OPTIONS FOR THOSE WITH HIGH SEROTONIN LEVELS

DRUGS/PHARMACEUTICALS/MEDICATIONS

  • Individuals with elevated serotonin levels in plasma and cerebrospinal fluid tend to benefit from anti-serotonin medications or medications that fall under a ''serotonin-modulator'' class of medications.
  • This includes the novel anti-depressant drugs Mianserin (U.K/Europe/India) and Nefazodone for some countries, as well as Mirtazapine (Remeron) for the USA Residents.
  • This may also include the drugs Ritanserin & Metergoline in countries where they are available.

Delineation of Psychopathy, It is A Mind-State, Not Some OtherWorldly Being, Not Some 'Sick' Entity Within A Man

Psychopathy is a crude term applied to many individuals whom display a lack of remorse, a lack of respect for legal repercussions and for the law in general. It also is said that to relish manipulation, is a sign of true evil, and an untrustworthy person stands by deceptive tactics. If Psychopathy is designated by these outlines, then this could apply to more than those diagnosed as 'Psychopaths.

In fact, this criteria (lawlessness, manipulation, lack of remorse) can be applied to borderline personalities, bipolar incidents, methamphetamine induced behavioral alteration, and many other altered mind-states, some of which may not be intentional in nature, such as with delusional states , which in some cases can appear as the above, of course, because the overt dissociation, or apparent delusion overshadows rational thinking, or because the power of these delusions can impact normal emotional processes... but then, if these cases are strong enough to appear one way, and yet be diagnosed as something different, then what is the true determinant of emotional impairment?

More to the point, if such diverse mental disturbances can contribute to interrupted emotional connections, then how sensitive are emotions , human emotions, to disruption, convergence of other processes which block their normal expression, or general decay?

Is it also possible that emotions, are a state-of-mind?
Of course.

Which brings me to the main next point, which will stand as a rupture to stigma, and therefore countering the alienation of whom we call Psychopaths today. Law & Order , Serial Killer Documentaries, Criminal Minds and other TV programs have done a great job at elucidating the mental processes in offending Criminals who fit into what we call Psychopaths, but they also allow us, well, the majority of watchers, to overlook the origin concepts which are necessary to understand the root of Psychopathy and the early elements which , at base, reveal a more subtle, but important reality.

The reality that Psychopathy is a State of Mind.

And that lack of Remorse is not an inhuman phenomenon.

It is a very human one.

Furthermore, because it is often noted that someone who is a 'Psychopath' has the innate ability to dissociate themselves, from the perception of their actions, or from their own emotions, or from the reality of a given situation, it seems that even more so, Psychopathy is truly a mind-state. It is the absorption of crude, often materialistic, and undifferentiatable resilience as the energy and mainstay of ones mind state. Psychopathy is simply put, the state of being a linear minded, action oriented, power-inclined individual. It is the state of acting not on emotion, but of desire.

Best Laptops for Making Instrumentals / MP3's & For Making Movies 2016-2017 (Best Laptops for YouTube Uploading Video Making 2016-2017)

The last in the series of Three, this article will talk about computer technology, graphics drivers, Random Access Memory and multi-tasking ability. It will go over the ability of laptops to run large and sophisticated video editing software and which laptops are ideal for movie editing and YouTube movie making.

Previously we had written...

As with the prerequisites for Game Emulation and 3D-game playing, a solid laptop for Video Editing should have a powerful processor; something like the Intel Core i7 or i5 quad-core processors would work great!

These processors perform especially well at video transcoding, encoding/decoding, transferring, process management, data merging, previewing and display optimization. They are optimal not only in video editing, and music editing, but also in mixed video-music management and for watching the compilations with ease.

Second, a good hard drive and hard drive capacity is absolutely necessary. You need space to put all the accessory files, and parts of the video and music that you will be editing, layering and adding to the final result. You need to be able to do this without lag, and efficiently so that you can correctly go over the result of your editing suite. Therefore, you must have around 500 GB (GigaBytes) at the least.

Third, you need good RAM, and a good graphics card like NVIDIA or AMD. RAM for storing and using data efficiently, as well as the programs and files involved must have a place to put their data, and graphics card for actually moving the content/footage into pixels from coded information.

These 5 laptops are ideal for all forms of media editing, including photos, music and Video editing. These all are well-able to perform these functions and more!

They also are a really good deal...

Does Masteron (DHT, Drostanolone Propionate) Lower / Decrease Cortisol Levels?

:::Q:::
"Area, does Masteron have an effect on Cortisol? Does it decrease cortisol levels?"

~Dave Q

:::A:::
Research shows that Dihydrotestosterone inhibits the HPTA stress response by cross-activating estrogen-Receptor beta, this causes a decrease in circulating corticosteroids, strong compounds, like Masteron, tend to have direct blocking action on Cortisol, by acting both at the hypothalamus and by acting on beta-endorphin related pathways [!].

So Yes, Masteron absolutely can lower Cortisol levels.

Perhaps not as much as more ''official'' cortisol blockers, but it does to an extent.

Masteron VS Andractim for Estrogen Control & Gynecomastia.

Article is also up on eRoids --> https://www.eroids.com/forum/general/general-talk/masteron-vs-andractim-for-estrogen-control-gynecomastia

During a steroid cycle, Estrogen control is crucial to both minimizing suppression, maintaining gains, ensuring solid, lean gains, and eliminating the risk of water retention and gyno - or male breast growth.

The question, is whether Masteron or Andractim compare better in terms of reducing current incidence of ''gyno'' and performing the estrogen control duties that a DHT-compound can play.
Out of those options, evidence is most important, and strongly on the side of Andractim for 'local estrogen control'. Andractim favours the treatment of gynecomastia (male breast growth) better than Masteron (drostanolone propionate/enanthate) does. However, Masteron ranks better at hardening gains and increasing fat loss/water loss. Masteron also appears to have a stronger effect on libido.

Masteron ranks a bit better in increasing strength, while Andractim seems to produce quicker effects on gyno reduction.

If you were to compare the two, the factors you would look at are...

  • Are you looking for a Gynecomastia solution primarily?
  • Are you looking to cut serious water, and are you also stacking Deca (Nandrolone) with your cycle?
  • Are you looking for strength increases?
If you answered "Yes" to the first question then Andractim is the way to go. If you answered Yes to the other two questions, then Masteron is the one you want. So that's that, ultimately it comes down to what YOUR goals are and your current cycle or regimen, if you aren't using anabolic steroids at all and are just looking for a solution to male breast growth then Andractim is your best friend.

With all this said and done, there are much more 'solid' sources of E2-control, and Arimidex should still be first line. The point of this write-up is to confine the two distinct roles these compounds share if they are to be seen as estrogen-reduction agents. It does not mean they are a replacement for a good old-fashioned estrogen control Protocol. Like said, and being brief as possible, Masteron nor Andractim are estrogen-blocking Agents by definition, but they certainly share some of the receptor-level hallmarks of SERMs.

These agents are to be used when and where they can be applied. They aren't supplements, they should not be treated as such. Anyone can and is capable of abusing these substances, they have their benefits, but over-use will undoubtedly lead to suppression.

Lastly, Masteron as an aphrodisiac agent does not necessarily come from its estrogen reducing abilities, but rather, it comes down to its direct actions as an androgenic agent. It is able to provide a rise in libido by ensuring androgens can hit target organs and crucial brain regions like the Hypothalamus...and possibly the limbic system. Masteron's effects on erectile quality are related to DHT-simulated nitric oxide release and nourishment of the Pelvic Ganglia nerve fibres. I say simulated because it is not endogenous or ''natural'' DHT doing the work but a synthetic compound acting like DHT.

Can Andractim DHT Gel Be Used to Treat Impotence? A Review of the Research.

Andractim DHT Gel, or Dihydrotestosterone gel, is a hormonal gel for Men often used to treat male breast growth (Gynecomastia) and to reduce the nipple swelling associated with it [1] [2]. The gel comes in a box, with specially designed tubes for dispensing the gel, and remains a top-selling pharmaceutical hormone product available over the Internet [3] [4] [5]

Off-label, Andractim is occasionally used by bodybuilders to reduce water weight, and to decrease the side-effects associated with other anabolic steroids [6] [7]. Andractim is not approved medically for this purpose, but all DHT-based steroidal compounds carry the effect of reducing water retention and decreasing estrogen levels [8] [9].

The most remarkable form of Estrogen (the ''woman's hormone'') in Men, and the one most associated with both cardiovascular health, and hormonal balance is "E2" or Estradiol.

Dihdyrotestosterone-like compounds, including Andractim, are efficient at establishing a balance between Testosterone and Estrogen. They also treat hypogonadism and some symptoms of infertility, including poor sperm quality and low sperm count very efficiently. Andractim gel is one of the most studied, but not necessarily the only option [10] [11].

In regards to Erectile Dysfunction, also known as 'impotence', Dihydrotestosterone gels improve all domains of sexual function, including orgasmic function [!], and rapidly replenish erectile function in aging men and men in whom are previously diagnosed with hypogonadism or a low Testosterone level [12] [13].

Andractim does this job well as it absorbs through the skin, rapidly elevating the levels of the androgen and activating androgenic pathways, which results in beneficial effects on manhood and longevity [14] [15].

Therefore andractim gels and all DHT-like compounds, are highly recommended especially when Testosterone treatment alone fails.

After all, Dihydrotestosterone is the active androgen in the maintenance of penile nitric-oxide synthase activity; essentially meaning that it establishes and maintains healthy erectile function in Men. Testosterone itself does not perform this role, and therefore DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) is a more effective treatment for male impotence rather than Testosterone.

Lastly, DHT may be useful in treating sexual dysfunction in older Men in whom are currently taking an SSRI-antidepressant, alone or combination with Viagra and / or Yohimbine. {Yohimbine treatment of sexual side effects induced by serotonin reuptake blockers.}

Andractim is only dispensed by All Saints Clinic, any other sites claiming to sell Andractim are likely fake, if they do not lead back to the ASC. Read the article regarding fake andractim gel alerts.

Herbs that Cause Disinhibition / Fearlessness (Supplements to Induce Fearlessness / Disinhibition)

::::Q::::

"Area, what supplements can I take to make me fearless?"

:::::A:::::
There aren't really any supplements that have been developed specifically to induce fearlessness, but there are supplements that have that effect.

Some of them, like Kratom, simply blunt emotional capacity and cause one to be able to easier to dissociate themselves. Kratom is also a pain-relief herb that can be smoked, snorted, or injected.  However, ingestion is the most common method of administration. It's also safer to drink Kratom like a tea, or consumed as capsules, than any other way.

Other herbs, like Kava Kava, have a direct fear reducing effect, they block anxiety, and they tend to heighten confidence and cause euphoria.

Kratom and Kava Kava can both be bought at Top Extracts.

  • CLICK HERE to be taken to the site with a VIP code.

Lastly, there are herbs like Magnolia Offinalis extract which have a Xanax-like effect and tend to rapidly reduce anxiety and can cause disinhibition like benzodiazepines.

Genesis Nutrition Magnolia Officinalis is the best brand and under 25$.

Supplements to Make Veins Show (How to Make Veins in Arms Visible with Supplements)

Some people are naturally more vascular, look leaner, and show more muscle definition. This is as much a genetic thing as it is a training thing. In fact, research shows that much of the condition required for vascularity involves primarily how much lean muscle one has in contrast to fat mass, and how hard they train. At the same time, research maintains that genetics influence how easily one may obtain and maintain a lean body composition.

Vascularity is also related to diet. The stronger ones cardiovascular system is, the healthier they are, and the wider their veins can get, generally. It specifically has to do with how much vasodilation the person experiences in response to a workout [1] [2]. Histamine plays an incredibly large role in exercise induced vasodilation [3]

Now, obviously some of you are here reading this because you want your veins to stick out without necessarily exercising, you are here for the scientific read of why some people simply have veins engorged all day long and always have prominent veins.

Four factors play a role here and are pretty much necessary prerequisites.

  1. Low Body Fat.
  2. Low Water Retention (subcutaneous; under the skin).
  3. High levels of histamine and / or nitric oxide throughout the day.
  4. Good artery health and oxygenation.
Those are the vital four to having your veins fully prominent in your arms, shoulders, traps etc. They also play a role in forehead veins to an extent and leg veins.

If you really want your veins to show, you have to at least aim to be 12-14% body fat, preferably lower, and you need to lose water weight.

You need to make sure you are doing cardio, and you should supplement with the following daily.

  1. L-Arginine (preferably Ether ester) {See Recommended Product Here}.
  2. Folic Acid or Methyl-folate {Check this one out}. 1000 mcg per day (250% RDV) is the recommended methylfolate dose.
  3. L-Histidine {NutraBio is the best form of this}. Dosage of 1.5 grams to start, and as long as there is no negative reaction, move up to 3 grams per day and at a maximum of 5 grams. Split up the doses. Do not take with food, space one hour away from meals, even small meals.
  4. Supplements like Tongkat Ali and Tribulus Terrestris can aid in water loss and boosting testosterone levels which can help you lean out [4] [5].
  5. Pycnogenol can enhance the effects of the above stack and has remarkable effects on general cardiovascular health [6] [7] and nitric-oxide bioavailability [8] [9].
So those are the best recommendations for increasing the visibility of your veins. They've worked for just about everyone I've talked to, and some of them report results even being a little over the 15% mark of body fat.

Remember that some men and women will experience earlier results than others, and since some of it does come down to genetic factors, some will experience much greater results and have less need for the supplements than others.

Lastly, there are a few more 'extreme' efforts for Pro-bodybuilders and those who would like to experiment with more advanced solutions. These however are by no means necessary for vascularity and definition, but they do provide very fast effects.

  1. Masteron is an injectable anabolic-androgenic-steroid (AAS) known for its 'drying' effect; that is it promotes fast water loss and improves definition and vascularity quite rapidly. It can be bought at Napsgear for a good price. They ship worldwide.
  2. Proviron is the pill-form of masteron, sort of, its a different compound and a bit weaker but does basically the same thing. It impacts definition, water weight, and vascularity all the same. Both of these compounds can be used to increase aggressive drive as well.
  3. Winstrol is a third steroidal compound that is an oral tablet, and can provide remarkable increases in muscle definition and vascularity, however, it is lesser used for this purpose because it has a tendency to be a little harsh on the liver (not super harsh, but somewhat).

Can Kava Kava Be Used With SSRI's? A Look Into The Research. (Kava Kava Interactions List Explored)

::Q::
::-::-::::-::-::::-::-::::-::-::::-::-::
"Dear Area-1255, do you believe Kava root's can be safely consumed with SSRI's? Can I smoke Kava Kava when beginning a course of anti-depressant medication?"

:::A:::

I recommend not smoking anything upon beginning a new medication, although most research [1] [2] seems to suggest that Kava Kava is a safe remedy for Anxiety and the uplifting of mood, smoking it is not the best method of administration [3]. Most people find that using a sublingual paste like TE's Kava Kava paste works best, it's also good to remember that you should add in new components to your supplement and / or medication regimen all at once.

Adding too much at once can distort the benefits of each substance alone.

Also, I don't particularly recommend SSRI's for any condition, including Depression and Anxiety. They have awful side-effects, and most of them, can end up leading to anhedonia (lack of pleasure) and in some cases, severe and lasting sexual and emotional impairment {see PSSDforum.com}.

If you so choose to continue with the SSRI, be aware of the possible side-effects (nausea, diarrhea, digestive issues, high cortisol levels, Prolactin elevation, cognitive dysfunction and apathy/anhedonia) [4] [5].

As far as Kava Kava, the extract can be safely used on it's own, if after several weeks the SSRI does not improve the condition, you should talk to a Doctor about either switching the medication or changing the dose, Kava Kava should not be used with SSRI's.

If you choose to use Kava Kava products with SSRI's, you should not add it in until after you have been on the medication for at least 2 months. In order to assess how Kava will affect you while on the medication. Additionally, Kava Kava can sometimes cause liver enzyme elevation [6], and in people with weakened livers or in whom have a history of drug abuse, or poor liver function, should not use Kava [7].

It is unclear exactly how Kava may interact with anti-depressants, but it absolutely can not be combined with Benzodiazepines and other GABAergic medications [8]. It should also not be used with mood stabilizers, such as Valproate & Litihum. [9].
