How to Increase Dopamine Beta-Hydroxylase 2019 (How to Increase DBH 2019) Increase Norepinephrine Conversion 2019

Dopamine beta-hydroxylase AKA DBH is an enzyme in the body responsible for turning our Dopamine into the more stimulating norepinephrine [1] - it is highly involved in multiple aspects of human behavior [2] including novelty-seeking [3] Curiosity [4] and other "adventurous" traits [5]. Empathy & concern for others well-being is made by DBH [6]. The more DBH - the less inclined one is to novelty and Reward - and the more natural stimulation they have...on the other hand - those homozygotes; possessing two-copies of the 'hyper-functional' DBH gene....may be more prone to Anxiety [6] and yet ironically, risky behavior [7]. Many Adults/Children diagnosed with ADHD - have mutations in the DBH-gene [8].

DBH is also involved in Memory & General Cognitive Function [9].

Dopamine beta-hydroxylase plays a large role in Blood Pressure [9] Cardiovascular function [10] & also longevity/Aging [11].

Glucocorticoids (Cortisol, ACTH, Stress Hormones) - these things can increase Dopamine-beta-hydroxylase activity [12] as well...however, I do not recommend Steroids solely for the purpose of increasing DBH levels!

5 Supplements to INCREASE Dopamine Beta-Hydroxylase

  1. Vitamin C + Ester-C [13]: Vitamin C is a necessary co-factor for Dopamine beta-hydroxylase...by supplementing with a strong Vitamin C + Ester-C product, or even EmergenC - you can increase Norepinephrine levels. Vitamin C plays many beneficial roles in the Brain of Humans.
  2. Copper Bisglycinate [14]: Copper is necessary for DBH-activity and thus norepinephrine production - it MUST be kept in balance with Zinc.
  3. Forskolin [15]: Forskolin acts to increase cAMP - which then triggers DBH to increase.
  4. Caffeine [16]: Caffeine at 200 MG per day can eventually stimulate the total blood (serum) DBH activity.
  5. Butea Superba Extract [17]: It blocks the breakdown of cAMP; leaving cAMP in the blood longer and stimulating DBH.

Other Methods & Vitamins to increase DBH enzyme Levels (2019)

  1. Supplement with L-Histidine [18] - it can increase DBH-activity and noradrenaline release by raising Histamine in the blood [19]. Histamine is 'co-localized' with norepinephrine and plays the role of its teammate/side-kick [20].
  2. Restore Estrogen (E2) levels; Estrogen stimulates dopamine conversion into Norepinephrine [20] - you can increase Estrogen production by increasing/optimizing Gonadal Function - for Men - you can supplement with E-Pharm Test Force II and I also recommend either taking Test-Stack 17 - or more preferably, injecting hCG [21]. HCG gets your Balls working again and also allows them to produce Estrogen [22]. Here is a discussion on Raising E2 on a well-known Bodybuilding message board; T-Nation.
  3. Supplement with DHEA + Pregnenolone [23] [24]: DHEA and Pregnenolone both raise Estrogen levels in Men & Women [25]
  4. EXERCISE! [26]: Exercise, particularly INTENSE Cardio - stimulates Dopamine-beta-hydroxylase and thus, norepinephrine production.
  5. COLD Exposure [27]: While it is still Winter in most places of the World - considering intentionally exposing yourself to the Cold...if you can handle it - try to walk in it - with just a Sweater or Two - this stimulates the Mind by increasing Adrenaline-production!
Drugs to Increase DBH

Things to AVOID when you Have Low Dopamine Beta-Hydroxylase/DBH

  1. L-Carnosine can inhibit DBH [28]. Avoid it - make sure it is not in your pre-workout or "energy formula" either...they tend to spike this simple compound in many products these days!
  2. Zinc supplementation is not recommended if you are trying to increase Dopamine Beta Hydroxylase. It tends to compete with Copper and speed elimination of Copper from the body.
  3. Don't take St.John's Wort for Depression - it blocks DBH in the Brain of Humans & Animals.
  4. Avoid Wheat-products; they inhibit DBH activity. Wheat also contains high levels of L-Tyrosine, however.
  5. Avoid WHITE FLOUR - it inhibits norepinephrine production and can cause Insulin Resistance/Diabetes [See Study on Flour & Type-2-Diabetes] use Sorghum flour instead - which raises DHT; which can then bring up Free Testosterone and finally Estradiol. It does this in part - by reducing SHBG; sex-hormone-binding Globulin. Starches and high-sugar foods should also be avoided; they wear out the Adrenal Glands.
  6. Avoid MOLD Exposure; mold (black mold & fusaric acid) inhibits Dopamine-beta-hydroxylase after inhalation (in humans!) and can lead to Adrenal Fatigue/Low Energy. Many people who are hooked on Cocaine or Amphetamines have Mold in their Brain which is causing a lack of normal stimulation. Mold also causes Depression - even in those with no history of Clinical Depression.
[2019] OTHER FACTS ABOUT DBH AND THE DBH GENE [2019]

  1. Migraine is associated with the DBH-gene [29].
  2. Avoid Mold Exposure; Mold blocks DBH [30].
  3. Homozygotes for the high-function DBH-gene are more Aggressive, particularly with Reactive Aggression [31]. Mice who 'null' or possess an Empty-Copy or deleted Copy of the DBH-gene also display less/no Aggression [32].
  4. Having BOTH the Warrior-Gene (MAO-L Gene) + having increased DBH-activity by Genetics increases the risk for Aggressive/Antisocial behavior; particularly impulsive and homicidal Aggression [33]
  5. Having BOTH the Warrior-Gene + DBH-high-function Gene leads to High Blood Pressure at a Young Age [34] [35] - and increased risk of Erectile Dysfunction in Men [36]. It can also lead to Heart Failure.
  6. The Warrior-Gene however can also be pro-Justice & can lead to Heroic Behavior - [37].
  7. Everybody has *some* Alterations in MAO-Activity at some point in their Life. [See Here Explanation on MAO Genes]
  8. Genghis Khan's genes may have been passed down to those who have 'Conqueror Blood' and the Maori and Finnish-peoples are often descended from Genghis Khan [38] - its hypothesized that one or many of Genghis Khans mates (Girls/Wives/Affairs) have the MAO-Warrior Gene...since 1 in 200 Men are descendants of Genghis Khan - that indicates that 1 in 200 Men - consistent with the Warrior-Gene statistics...may possess the 'Violence Gene' because of Genghis Khan. [SEE: Maori People Passed Down the Warrior-Gene]
  9. One man descended from Genghis Khan was surprised that it was actually his paternal roots - which were mostly English - that linked to Genghis Khan. His name is Tom Robinson.
  10. Autism and the DBH-Gene have a connection as well, as indicated in This-Study and this Paper.
  11. Higher DBH-Genotypes have an increased risk of PTSD (Post-Traumatic-Stress-Disorder).
  12. Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease and Schizophrenia all have links to the Dopamine Beta Hydroxylase gene.
  13. HUMAN Norepinephrine-deficiency is most commonly caused by T/T mutations in the DBH-gene loci.
  14. The High-Function DBH-type may be present in those with "Performance Anxiety" during Sex.
