Can Someone be both Psychopathic & Psychotic?

A common misconception is that Psychopathy ''rules out'' Psychosis, and that Psychotic diagnosis generally excludes Psychopathic personalities...however, there are no guarantee's with the human mind and Psychiatrists often come across individuals with traits of both disorders.

Psychopathy is a personality 'type' and a disorder characterized by primarily Bold & Egotistical traits [1] [2] [3], versus the traditional antisocial behavior spectrum which is characterized more by impulsivity, lack of responsibility and low empathy [4] [5] [6]. Psychopaths are more 'fearless' than those with Antisocial personality and generally have more narcissistic traits. They also are more callous, and display 'stress immunity' and lack of (or very little) nervousness.

Psychopathic individuals as well as your garden variety sociopath (antisocial personality) both often have other mental diagnosis, if they are in the system, that is. Those that are off-the-grid or live in complete isolation would not be counted in statistical analysis. Common co-occurring diagnosis with Psychopathy are Bipolar disorder and less often, Depressive disorders [7] [8] [9].

Psychopaths do often have Paranoid traits [10] [11] [12], and a smaller percentage exhibit complete megalomania and may often talk as if they are a God; otherwise 'special', or even invulnerable. However, hallucinations are almost never present and the delusions of grandeur do not impair these individuals as they are able to act and seem normal [13] [14].

In fact, most Psychopaths with semi-Psychotic traits only display them to certain people. They may even do so as a manipulation tactic [15] [16].

Psychopaths often present with Compulsive, fearless behavior, sometimes with Paranoid traits [17] [18].

There's also a subtype of Psychopathy which includes more social withdrawal.
The 'Secret' Violent Schizoid with Psychopathic personality [19] [20] [21].

This would be someone who is highly creative, intelligent and exhibits semi-Psychotic traits, possibly appearing almost Autistic in nature of their Interests, but possesses little to no Empathy - thus, they are the rare Psychopath with Schizoid personality subtype. These are types that spend their days dreaming of taking control of Businesses, Governments, gaining complete Power over others, and often live in Isolation with their evil fantasies as their main outlet.

The main answer to this question, can you be Psychopathic and Psychotic at the same time? No. They are generally mutually exclusive, but you can be a Psychopath with Paranoid and 'stable' delusional traits.

You can also be Psychotic with low empathy, but having a full-on Psychotic disorder usually (almost always) replaces ANY personality disorder as the primary diagnosis. Unless of course, the Psychosis is situational; either self-generated or drug-induced.

Further Elaboration on Specifics between Disorders
-----------------------------------------------------
Another way to distinguish the differences between each disorder and whether there are co-ocurring mental disorders is by the reactions the person presents with.

The reality is that a Sociopath, Psychotic and a Psychopath react very differently to Insults, Instigation and Stress.

In the case of a Sociopath; the response to any of the above is often hostile, out-of-place or uncalled for. A Psychotic may over-dramatize their response, act especially eccentrically, say weird things in response that do not seem to relate (as in thought-disorder) or may appear almost BiPolar.

A Psychopath would however, discriminate their response based on the person causing the Insult, would use their people-reading skills and Intelligence to direct a non-wasted effort in Silencing the offending person. They would also be less emotionally affected and would plot their return statement carefully. Thus, as in with a business, a Psychopath would both escape repercussions and deliver an adequate proverbially decapitating response. While maintaining their Image. The result is that one type is better at self-preservation, including their emotional integrity and mental well-being than the other.

A general rule can be stated: Sociopaths are intent and hostile in response to Stress, Psychotics are vain, digressing from points and inconsistent, there are more variables and speech can be more unpredictable. Psychopaths calculate response based on best measurable outcome, and preserve face by responding efficiently and personalizing the response based on who they are talking to.

Remember that even though these are accurate assessments of each Personality Type; they are not always going to be 100% precise. There are always variables.

Cross-Over Traits in Children
------------------------------------------------
Children with Psychotic traits in some cases appear dissociated, erratic and often manic.

However despite popular belief, dissociation, insensitivity to Punishment and prank-pulling are actually more associated with childhood Psychopathy.

Psychopathic children are often found destroying school-property, others property and home property; throwing objects to prove a point or doing things to evoke a response can be a Psychopathic complex rather than attention-seeking. Though in all reality they can be both. Psychopathic children tend to behave in sadistic manner, and gain pleasure from upsetting or seeing people upset. They often manipulate adults at a Young age.

eGifter Review ~ Is eGifter Legit?

I was searching for an easy way to turn my extra BitCoins into a Gift Card. I was looking for one that did not require an intermediate, nor administrative approval. More, one that would be compatible with my favorite wallet.

So I did some searching, I found that in my extensive research that there were only a few sites that people really seemed to enjoy. I didn't want to take anothers word for it, though. I like to find my own personal taste in sites.

I decided to roll the dice with eGifter after seeing some positive comments and posts on Reddit. This one stuck out first.

As you can see, this refers to a flurry of comments regarding eGifter as reliable and ''always used''.
Its my experience that comments with more personalization and attitude tend to be more legit.

So I went with eGifter and created an account, to get an 100$ Amazon Gift Card. I received the gift card code after about a half hour of sending the required BitCoins to their wallet address. That's impressive. The Gift Card code was e-Mailed to me and was immediately usable!
I have also referred the site (eGifter.com) to my Cousin, who used it to purchase an Applebee's Gift Card. He received it last week and couldn't be happier. I highly recommend eGifter to Family, Friends & Associates at this point! Just very very impressed. 5-Stars, without a doubt. :-)

IRC.BIO Ibudilast Solution Review (Independent)

IRC.Bio is an independent Research Chemical retailer and is growing in popularity due to the Innovative compounds they offer. Ibudilast is no exception, Ibudilast is a potent anti-inflammatory that has been studied for Multiple Sclerosis [1] [2] [3] as well as Asthma, where it is currently approved in Japan as a medical treatment; sold as a pill, solution and injectable [4] [5]. It has some research in the potential treatment of Crohn's Disease and Inflammatory Bowel Disease but these bits of research are more or less in their infancy [6] [7] [8].

Now, keep in mind that Ibudilast is sold as a Powder and Solution on IRC.Bio, the possible side-effects, of which I only experienced two (increased sweating, and mild Anxiety during the first hour after ingestion), are usually very mild and experienced in less than half of the people who take it [9].

There are some isolated cases of elevated liver enzymes [10] [AST/ALT] in an even smaller proportion of enrollees/patients. These events are not regarded as symptomatic (they are asymptomatic; without symptoms) nor are they seen as a danger to the patient, though caution is advised in patients with a history a liver disease.

My experience with Ibudilast is somewhat subtle. The solution was taken at 20 MG per day (relatively low dose) and was taken every day of the week without break. There is no need to cycle this medication. The most obvious effects were the following...

  • An improved sense of Mental Clarity.
  • An improved sense of recall.
  • An improved all-round energy level.
  • A decrease in appetite.
  • An increase in the potency of Caffeine.
These effects all occurred by Day 3, and continued throughout the 30-day course of taking this 'supplement'.

Rodents also noticed a decrease in appetite, with no obvious changes in interactions with their mates or fellow mouse brethren. A couple of the rodent subjects seemed to experience gastrointestinal discomfort and this led to some irritability and decreased maze movement.

Some rodents did experience increased alertness, though slight.

As far as my duration of use, I can say I will be buying this again, though it isn't the hardest hitting nootropic, I can consider it a nootropic, and a prominent one; solely because it improved mental clarity and because it enhanced recall. This is probably due to Ibudilast's PDE4-inhibiting effects which allow for a greater concentration of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) to accumulate in the Brain [11]. This leads to increased transcription factors, increased nerve cell growth and a functional enhancement of neurotransmission [12]. There is no doubt this translates well into my experience and others such as LostFalco who have also enjoyed their experience with this chemical. I conclude that this product is very useful and the research backs it up [13].

The Continuance of Violence is A Reflection of Oversimplification

Zipping through the Streets of Protest and one thing is very clear, not everyone who shouts is on the side their supporters think they are.

Is there such thing as a Pseudoprotestor; a person protesting for the purpose of expressing their own volatile impulses? Of course.

There's a ''pseudo'' everything. Many people seem to desire being a Mirror Image of something, but sometimes that desire is just what it appears. A mask. People infiltrate numerous unceremonious organizations, cliques and companies constantly, yet, most do not know it. They aren't aware of duplicity wirhin their ranks...but what's the point of infiltrating a Protest?

The May-Day protests gained a lot of attention. Its the Rage, the Noise, the Emotion that draws responses. These aren't protestors though, they are Left-Wing Anarchists. Believe it.

The worst part is how some of the Media reacts to the Chaos; oversimplifying it as either Crime or Conspiracy, when the Intention can be neither. As Anarchists often believe in their duty to Individual Protection, then a skewed version of that is Destruction for Protection.

However, Anarchism is not the Problem. It's actually a Solution. Just not this kind of Modern-Day, Closed-Minded Anarchistic Mayhem.

When Anarchy rises to the Streets, it should have a Swift and Calibrated momentum. Not break a car here and throw fire at people. The other issue is what are the protestors really debating, the People elected for the Immigration Policies to be enforced.

It's only a few thousand and some lesser groups that don't want it.

Still, there are other more pallatable ways to debate this issue.

It will eventually be that these groups fade into the shadows for a while, and a new wave of solidified anarchistic innuendo will begin.

Natural / Herbal Treatments/Cures for Hepatitis C Infections (Also Covers Hepatitis A & B)

Hepatitis C is a pervasive viral infection of the liver that seems to inherently target Younger people and people using drugs, and of course, Alcoholics, often embodying an already damaged or suppressed Liver, are especially at risk for Hepatitis C's deleterious effects on the Liver.

As a virus that uniquely targets the Liver, Hepatitis C is especially important to treat early on...so as to avoid damage to this vital organ.

Hepatitis C can usually be cured with today's medical/pharmaceutical treatment, however, as with any drug, these treatments have side-effects, and some would like to maintain a bodily immune response against the Virus. Easier said than done, but there are some ''herbal'' treatments that can help. Of course, 'curing' it would still take time, and it would not be immediate. The treatments mentioned herein are NOT a replacement for a Doctor's advice, and you should pay attention to the context and priority of the sources herein.

Common Appetite/Gastrointestinal Symptoms of Hepatitis C & B...

  • Nausea
  • Food Intolerance (stomach upset after previously acceptable foods, and nausea after eating).
  • Loss of Appetite (it is not uncommon for Hepatitis C patients to eat one meal a day and sometimes none at all, in part, but not totally, due to nausea)

Common SKIN Symptoms of Hepatitis Infection/s.

  • Pruritis, or chronic/long-lasting Itching, can sometimes be attributed to Hepatitis C infections. [See Source Here]
  •  Hepatitis A, B & C often result in Urticaria; or Hives/Rash [See Here].
  • Hepatitis C and other forms of Hepatitis (including A & B) can cause facial rash, bumps or maculopapular rash [See Reference Here].
 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Other Miscellaneous Symptoms that Are Caused by Hepatitis C Virus Infections (HCV Infections)
  • Fatigue (tiredness, often mild but sometimes severe and daily)
  • Chronic Low Grade Fever
  • Swollen Lymph Nodes : Neck, pelvic, under-arms (though this is more common with Hepatitis B, Herpes and Cytomegalovirus than Hepatitis C)
  • Polyarthritis, Arthritis or other Joint pains/complaints.

Now...to get to the treatments for Hepatitis C.
And BTW, these herbs and natural ingredients would also target Hepatitis A & B.

NOTE: As usual, when you click the name of the Herb or ingredient, you will be taken to our recommended product page, these are not 'automatically placed', they are chosen by the Author/s of this Blog, so you won't get a virus or anything on your computer, don't worry.

Milk Thistle works as a preventative agent for preventing liver complications from both Acute and Chronic Hepatitis infections [1] [2] [3]. It also may help boost antioxidant defenses in the Liver which may help natural immunity through the Infection [4] [5].
Milk Thistle Extract ONLY when concentrated for high amounts of Silymarin can help cure Hepatitis infections. Silymarin is the herbal component within the Milk Thistle plant and Extract that directly inhibits the replication and activity of Hepatitis C Virus.
N-Acetyl-Cysteine or ''NAC'' is a separate supplement but should be used with Milk Thistle to help prevent complications from Hepatitis infections [6] [7]
Prickly Pear Extract rejuvenates the Liver and can help boost antiviral immunity against a number of Pathogens, including Hepatitis [8] [9].

2.) Vitamin E / Mixed Tocopherols / D-Alpha-Tocopherol : This is another clinically studied natural remedy for Hepatitis C Infection, it generally reduces liver enzymes but also has effects on natural immunity that allow white blood cells to more effectively attack and eliminate the Hepatitis C Virus [10].

3.) Turmeric/Curcumin/Curcuminoid Potency Extract : Curcumin, a compound found in the spice/herb Turmeric, is one of the strongest anti-viral nutrients on the Planet. It targets a wide variety of pathogens IN HUMANS, and is SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN to suppress/inhibit Hepatitis C Virus entry into human liver cells [11].

4.) Olive Leaf Extract; Maximum Oleuropein : Is a extremely potent natural anti-microbial that blocks Hepatitis C, B and A replication [12] [13] and can displace them from human liver cells/membranes and can also help protect the Liver itself by exerting strong antioxidant potency [14] [15] [16].

5.) Green Tea Extract : Only useful when HIGH EGCG EXTRACTS are used, Green Tea Extract (GTE) potently inhibits HCV-entry into Primary Human Liver cells or Hepatocytes and reverses symptoms of Hepatitis disease in Humans. [17] [18].

How to Fix Windows 7 When it Fails to Boot to Log-In (Includes when Safe Mode is Not Working) (Safe Mode Stopping at CLASSPNP.SYS FIX)

NOTE: This method fixes the repeat Windows 7 Blue Screen as well as mainly the UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME fatal error. It works for almost every single case of failed startup including where Windows Startup Repair typically fails, and it bypasses the need for Safe Mode. This method fixes the ''glitch'' where Windows 7 Startup Repair leads to a blank wallpaper screen. It bypasses almost all other normal routes of fixing.

To be clear, this method, when followed in totality, and IN-ORDER, ALLOWS Safe Mode to Start Up without ''hanging'' at CLASSPNP.SYS AND simultaneously allows for the Windows Startup Repair to work properly without freezing at a blank screen. It will get your PC/Notebook/Laptop working again, even if it won't proceed to Log-In.

*The common Startup issue, is actually in the failure to boot up the initial Log-In Screen.*
Windows 7 won't boot up, or the logo comes on the screen and then ... nothing?
No log-in? Even after repeated reboots? Well, don't keep rebooting it, eventually you will probably come to the conclusion that you should actually disable auto-reboot in the "F8" advanced boot options, and that's probably a good idea.

However you really only need to do a few things, the goal is to get to Command Prompt. Let's assume you can't get into Safe Mode; which normally you would hit F8 then Start into Safe Mode or simply ''Safe Mode''. Many times users report that safe mode 'hangs' or freezes/stops at "CLASSPNP.SYS" - that's actually very common and doesn't mean your computers is fried.

It doesn't necessarily indicate a virus - either.

...But when this is all said and done, you should probably scan your computer. After all, these types of hard drive issues (HDD Corruption) often happen by any unauthorized modification of the hard drive, which is common with viruses.

So let's do this quickly, shall we?

CREDIT FOR THIS METHOD GOES TO  Peter Giammarco @ShimmerTechno.
http://www.shimmertechno.com/windows-help/windows7-unmountable-boot/

1.) Reboot your computer and immediately hit repeatedly F2, to get into BIOS.
2.) Once into BIOS, go over to the Configuration tab, and change the hard drive interface settings from AHCI to Compatible or ATA.
3.) Now reboot computer after Exiting BIOS on last tab with Save and Exit option...sometimes called ''Exit with Saving'' option.
4.) Now allow the computer to boot and bring up the ''Start Windows Repair'' which is the Recommended option. Since BIOS setting is on Compatible, the blank repair screen should no longer occur, and it should start automatically ''fixing'' the issues, though, what we actually want is to get to the Repair ''keyboard''.
5.) When the option occurs, use keyboard and login under your usual Windows ADMIN log-in, and then choose the last option to open command prompt. This circumvents the need for Safe Mode and gets directly to the issue.

IN COMMAND PROMPT TYPE THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS IN ORDER...
After each command, press enter, each command under each bullet is separate.
Begin with the first one.

  • chkdsk c: /r
  • Bootrec /Fixboot
  • Bootrec /fixmbr
After each of these commands are done, and the latter two should present with ''The Operation has been Completed'' or a similar message, then you can Reboot the computer and hit F2 to get into BIOS...for the final time, all you are doing now is.

-Changing back the Setting from Compatible to AHCI under Configuration tab in BIOS.
-Now save settings in BIOS and Exit.
-Now Reboot your computer a final time and that should have solved the issue.

The Difference Between Apathy & Psychopathy, Between Lack of Emotion and AntiSocial Personality...

Apathy is a general lack of concern, interest and engagement, in anything, in anyone - it does not discriminate. It simply means that the person experiencing it (apathy) is more or less empty, passive and shallow. That does not give way to their actual emotional quality though, because it can be situational. Apathy can be triggered by Depression [1], Drinking [2] and by drug abuse in general [3]. Apathy can also be the result of Trauma, and any kind of 'hard-hitting' Anxiety.

Psychopathy on the other hand is unique in that, it is characterized ONLY by a lack of fear, and empathy, and if violent or shrewd action is employed, then by a lack of concern for the consequences, in that case, the 'emotional deficit' isn't really an emotional deficit in its cleanest sense, but rather a lack of specific cognitive awareness or simply an unwillingness to identify with others and their feelings.

Apathy is often universal, but for a time, Psychopathy is a persistent personality trait, one that may vary in presentation but generally is defined by that person rather than it defining the person who exhibits it. Its a characteristic.

Individuals with Psychopathy still experience emotions, but on a much lower level, that is, they experience emotions differently, they experience Anxiety (although is short-lived and they usually can dissociate themselves from the impact of it), they experience Anger (often a lot of it!), and they experience Satisfaction when they gain what they are looking for. They experience Sadness much less than most of the population, and when they do it is usually in relation to something they themselves lost, though, if they were close to someone, then they could be 'upset' about losing the person, family member or otherwise - it is important to note that some Psychopaths are capable of experiencing full-on sadness, crying and Joy, but these are fewer than the ones that don't, it seems.

Apathetic individuals usually are capable of experiencing all ranges of emotions, depending on the degree of Apathy and the cause.

Lack of Emotion is subjective, and often is associated more with Brain Damage or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) would be the technical term. It can also be a symptom of or simply go along with Anhedonia; which means the lack of ability to experience pleasure from activities, including Eating.

Lack of emotion is difficult to pinpoint in its etiology, but if often has to do with limbic dysfunction, and dopamine deficiencies. Severe emotional stress may lead to this state of ''no-emotion'' only in susceptible individuals, particularly those with a history of Dysthymia or other forms of Persistent Depression.
