Best Laptops For Emulation 2016 / 2017 (Best Laptops for Emu/Game Emulation 2016/2017)

~CLICK HERE to Skip directly to the Recommendations~

Previously we wrote a long post about Best Laptops for Hackers, which included a run-down on the best laptops for programming and penetration testing (pen-testing). This article turned out to be very popular even though it wasn't exactly intended to be that, now we are proud to finally publish the long-requested article of 'Best Laptops for Video Game System Emulation'.

The idea of this post is to give an accurate summary of which laptops are suited for, or adept at emulating various consoles and their games, and which ones also can easily perform these duties, at the lowest possible cost.

Now obviously, the better hardware you have the better your system will be at emulating other hardware/software. That doesn't necessarily mean a more expensive laptop. Where the demands of hacking and pen-testing demand vital and significant internal storage, the prerequisites for game emulation are generally just a good graphics processor, and good RAM/CPU.

Your laptop should also be in good working order and not muddled with high-risk pirated downloads and large bits of video. To emulate efficiently, you should also have as little processes and programs running in order for the emulator to run smoothly.

These are all common sense tips but...

  • If you are looking to emulate more recent systems then your laptop will have to carry a large capacity to run multiple processes, extensions and to keep up with the emulator's CPU requirement. That's just to start.
  • If you plan on emulating large 3D-environments as in a 1st-Person-Shooter, such as COD and God of War as well as any extensive RPG-Environment then you will need additional processing requirements and a fairly up-to-date graphics card on your laptop.
  • For AMD processors you should be looking at FX8000 or better.
  • For Intel processors you should be looking at i5 or i7 processors such as i5-4670K and i5-3570K, the "K" series allows for overclocking and consistent and smooth performance. Great i7 processors are i7-4700MQ and i7-4930MX and are pretty affordable in comparison to newer variants.
Lastly, for emulating newer games GEForce GPU/Graphics cards are preferred, almost necessary. 2 - 5 GB of RAM minimum on your laptop/Computer will work fine.

Now, let's get to the laptops.

  1. Toshiba Qosmio X75-A7180 17.3-Inch Laptop (2.4 GHz Intel Core i7-4700MQ Processor, 16GB DIMM, 1TB HDD, 256GB SSD, Blu-ray BD-RE, Windows 8.1) Black  --> It's got great reviews, over 52 reviews to be exact, fits into all the specs needed for game emulation, and runs the newest operating system...it's only around 273$ USD, just go to ''See All Buying Options'' after clicking HERE.
  2. Acer Aspire 15.6-Inch Gaming Laptop (Intel Core i5-5200U, 8GB, 1TB HDD, Windows 10), Black / Grey - Extremely popular laptop, only 529$, gets the job done every time, excellent reviews including personal testimonials and good words on forums. What more is there to say? <CLICK HERE> to buy it.
  3. For a computer, Alienware's famous Sixth-generation gaming PC; called Alienware X51 AX51R3-1510BLK Desktop (6th Generaton Intel Core i5, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD) NVIDIA GTX 745 is a perfect match, for any gamer. Not only does it have all the right specs, and magnificent a graphics processor, but this brand is recommended by virtually every computer and gaming fanatic website out there. Look it up ''alienware featured on PCMag'', ''alienware on Wired'', the list goes on.
  4. The Asus F555LA-AB31 15.6-Inch Laptop (2.1 GHz Core i3-5010U Processor,4 GB RAM,500 GB Hard Drive, Windows 10), Black, is an Area-1255 favorite, not just because of the style, but because of the machine. It's made to be simple, and powerful. Check it out HERE.
  5. The last but not least, the Lenovo G570, a smart and efficient laptop with decent gaming capacity, and definitely an affordable price tag @ 279.99$ + 8.49$ shipping, can't get much better than that. Buy it by clicking the name or take our personal referral here.

Boost Mobile Boost ZTE Speed Review (Review of Boost PrePaid Phone on 35$ Monthly Plan) **Includes Boost Customer Service Review**

Last year I walked into a Radioshack store and had a terrific experience, the lady there was very helpful, almost too enthusiastic, but pleasant. I was asking what the best possible phone would be, besides any NET10 or Tracfone that I had tried in the past. Something that wasn't super expensive, and that is PrePaid. I was shown to the Boost ZTE Speed. It was around 50 bucks, and it costs 35$ monthly but this gives unlimited Talk/Text, and practically unlimited Data for use on the Internet.

If you are using it currently, you would see that it often starts as "4G" data, then flips to "3G" after a bit of usage. That is unless you have purchased a 40 or 45$ plan. Then it is completely unlimited without any exceptions for Data/Internet usage.

The data depletes quickest when you are using the web browser and repeatedly downloading files or streaming large bits of Video on YouTube, while using the browser.

Each data usage correlates to the app you are using, meaning, there is a specific data allowment for each App, rather than a universal data bar.
This means even after your Browser no longer has data worth, you can still use Mail and other Network-Apps.

So the deal with this phone is it's extremely easy to set up, you choose a PIN at the time of purchase, and often, the employee attending to your purchase will set that part up. Along with telling you your phone number, and at Radioshack at least, will offer to make a test call.

Once the phone was set up, I noticed a few things about this phone that along with running the Android interface very smoothly, I was very impressed about.

NAVIGATION

The Boost ZTE Speed is smoother, and easier to navigate than the NET10 ZTE Midnight and Paragon in comparison, it also seems to have a darker theme at start. Something about this phone just really seems intriguing. I noticed that app moving doesn't lag like on some other Androids, and brightness and other settings are easy to adjust, a brightness bar on the top drop-down menu makes this and other main features easily accessible, and customizable. That is 'swiping the screen from top to bottom' brings down the menu, for those who aren't familiar.

Settings are easy to play with and they include, at start, many different types of keyboard, languages, and many different possible variations in key layout. Being it is a touch screen, I prefer keeping it simple and enable only the Android keyboard. The Google Voice keyboard is pretty simplistic as well though.

Overall, this phone works well for all tasks, including note-taking, browsing the Internet, it seems to load PDF files considerably faster than the other devices I've used.

DATA CAPACITY / APP STORAGE

Internet-wise, this phone seems to be faster, than NET10 and Tracfone and also some other service-phones like T-mobile. I'm not sure if this is related to the network implementing into the device itself or related to how Boost-connects to the towers and Sprint-network. Probably both. The phone itself seems to be able to handle data pretty well.

It downloads apps with ease, and pretty quickly. I only noticed a few times it disconnects is if you are using an unstable Wi-Fi connection, particularly when running a proxy server or VPN. That's pretty much universal though, with all Wi-Fi enabled devices. With regard to Data-web-surfing, it is extremely fast, and  very consistent.

App storage is not super impressive, but 8GB of Internal Storage and up to 32 GB microSD capacity/capability are included, which is more than most entry-level phones of the Android variety support, included in the price range.

OPERATING SYSTEM
Android 4.4

The Boost ZTE Speed runs the Android 4.4 operating system and runs it very well. There are no major issues with it, it supports all classic Google apps, works smoothly with Google Voice, Gmail, mailing files, and file manager software.

It opens documents and PDF easily, though adding the Free apps; Adobe Acrobat & File Manager HD are necessary. Remember that if you don't have an Internet connection at your home, and have run out of data usage, you can easily go to a Tim Hortons, McDonalds or other free Wi-Fi access points in order to quickly download the app.

I've noticed basically no flaws with this particular phone, at least in terms of the Operating System (OS) of Boost Mobile ZTE Speed.

CAMERA

Built in are two camera's, lens on each side, and they work well, they hold the flash option, and many other modification options to adjust the Zoom level when using the software, some Effects can be added into the Image, and files can be edited and Cropped.

The camera works very well, but keep in mind that taking hundreds of Photo's and / or Video's, will likely lag the system a tiny bit, and use up IS (Internal Storage) very quickly. Adding a MicroSD Card is prudent if the intention is to use the phone for that much multimedia actions.

Video Camera works very well, but sending files or Video's is a different matter.

MULTIMEDIA SUPPORT, SENDING FILES, AND USB-NAVIGATION

Files that are fairly large, sometimes even over 5MG or 10 megabytes, often have issues being sent over the built-in e-mail capabilities of the device, it will often say ''File too Large".

This roadblock can be circumvented by sharing the file on Google + (plus) or directly moving the file onto another device, like a Computer, via USB-connection.

When connecting your Boost Android to a computer or laptop via USB, take into account that files will not show up, if you have not unlocked your phone's screen.

This is something I have encountered with multiple devices, and is not unique to the ZTE Speed or any Android. YOU MUST ENTER YOUR PIN NUMBER, AND UNLOCK YOUR SCREEN, in order to enable the computer to read the files on your Phone/Android, the device "Android" or w/e it is named will show up while connected, but you will not see the files or folders on the Phone show up until your PIN is entered ON PHONE and screen is usable.

You also have to often ''install'' the phone's driver software before it can be used with your Computer and before files can be moved to and from the device.

That includes MP3's/Music Files, and it includes Video's, Text Documents and any other file that may be transferred to and from the Phone.

The last note is that e-mailing files often takes a couple minutes, depending on the speed of your connection, but tends to be done faster when you are not lagging your phone with multiple tasks, and when at a good Wi-Fi hotspot. Data network tends to also be fastest when downloading apps and when sending files, assuming your signal is O.K.

A bad signal for your phone, will inevitably affect the data/Internet efficiency just as it would if you have a poor signal from your Router's Wi-Fi. The phone relies on it's general signal for Data-related operations.

CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCES

To contact Boost mobile customer service, you would call the following number.

  • 1 (866) 402-7366
Then upon being prompted, type in your Boost phone number, followed by your PIN for your phone/boost account.

Next, hit "5", "5", and "5" again after each prompt to be moved to a Customer Service Representative.

Their customer service representatives are far less rushy, are more up-to-date, and much more helpful than both TracFone & Net10, they take security very seriously, and are not interested in your personal details.

Throughout the years, they have been perhaps the only Company to respect our country's Privacy laws, our personal details, and our personal beliefs and preferences.

They also are very helpful, speak English very well, and I haven't spoken to any incompetent representatives as of yet. Which is a first for me, normally with other companies you almost have to get used to hearing gibberish every once in a while, or background mumbling which was consistent with Tracfone, some of their representatives.

Therefore, in terms of Customer Service, I rank them as...

5/5 for Professionalism.
5/5 for respecting privacy, not asking for personal details. (other than first name)
5/5 for being thorough, yet to the point.

And an overall score then of 15/15 on my scale for being very helpful, very understanding, and very patient.

As a final note, Boost gift cards to renew the balance on one's account can also be purchased on Amazon, and most Boost mobile phones are also sold on Amazon as well.

Toxins / Drugs / Chemicals That Induce Psychosis / Psychotic States (Toxins & Drugs That Cause Acute/Chronic Psychosis)

Any drug that blocks glutamate-receptors can induce a Psychotic-state [1] [2], that means anything like DXM, to Ketamine, PCP, or even stuff like Benadryl which blocks histamine; therefore reducing extracellular glutamate levels [3], can induced Psychosis.

In addition, toxins like Aluminum [4], Mercury [5], Lead [6] and Arsenic [7] can induce neurodegeneration and Psychotic symptoms when they accumulate over time. Even small quantities of these 'minerals' can be harmful to ones health and mental state [8] [9]

Strychnine, MK-801, Memantine and some other ''medical drugs'' can also induce Psychosis in healthy individuals even [10] [11] [12].

Likewise, other drugs that enhance glutamate, block serotonin, dopamine, or alter noradrenaline levels can alleviate or reduce Psychosis/Psychotic-symptoms [13] [14]

Types of delusions associated with glutamate-blocking agents include...

  1. Delusions of grandeur including that one can ''fly'' across buildings, has invincibility, immortal, superior to others, is a Deity or mythological king, and / or has abilities that ''no one else has'' [15] [16]. This is because blocking glutamate causes the brain's neurons to 'misfire' appropriately, and blocking glutamate tends to lead to a disproportionate increase in prefrontal activity, cortical neuron activity vs Posterior Cingulate activity  [17] [18].
  2. Persecutory delusions, the most common of which is that others are planning on, or are in process of, or will be, poisoning one intentionally, the subject in which experiences the delusions, or that one has 'agents' that are out to get them, wrongfully arrest them, kill them or poison them when caught.
  3. Paranoid delusions; black-helicopters following them, camera's in light sockets, feels like one is trying to 'steal their ideas', their job, their mission, suspicion that a loved one, or friend, or old-acquaintance is trying to record, surveil or otherwise watch you.

It is important to grasp that there are many different forms of delusions, and varying degrees of intensity, which may or may not be directly associated with ones general mental state. In many cases, psychotic symptoms subside when the offending chemical, toxin, or drug is withdrawn from the body or detoxified. Some cases may remain if in fact, persistent neurodegeneration has occurred, meaning, until the damage to the Brain is repaired, symptoms may linger.

Lastly, it is important to note the difference between Psychosis and obsessive-compulsive-thoughts or 'intrusive thoughts'.
  • Psychotic individuals actually believe the delusions, or can not escape them, or fear that the situation is constantly, or frequently impending, ready to happen, or is destined to target them.
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder or OCPD-related thoughts generally don't include specifically paranoid features, but when they do, the OCD-afflicted individual recognizes that the thoughts are unrealistic, does not believe them, but feels compelled to perform a compulsion or ritual to alleviate them. Generally, these individuals if symptoms of not extreme, are able to cope and focus in Public and when challenged by others, will acknowledge it is not a logical process of thought and that the intrusive thought process is more like something engaged in as a 'bad habit'.
Here is list of Psychosis-inducing Toxins/Drugs.
  1. PCP (Angel Dust; Supergrass, Tic Tac's) : Extreme paranoia, feeling like thoughts are being 'read', taken or stolen, induces a state of dissociation and detachment, induces subjective well-being but also a blunting of feeling in limbs, is an anesthetic, creates euphoria, grandiosity, dulls emotions, creates delusions of grandeur, feeling of invincibility and unlimited strength, causes suspicion of loved ones, even wives/husbands and parents, in some cases siblings.
  2. Ketamine (Special K, Vitamin K) : Induces sedation, euphoria, stimulation, alteration in sense of time, perception of speed of time, perception of height, can induce creative delusions (magical clocks, portals to other worlds, mystical superbeing within self) and substantially distorts ones sense of humor, personality, and trust of others.
  3. Strychnine : This is both a drug and a substance naturally produced within the body, it is elevated in patients with schizophrenia, as well as manic-depressive-psychosis, it alters ion-transport and blocks glycine-receptors.
  4. DXM (Dextromethorphan) : Increases subjective sense of well-being, sensory input, sense of inner peace, emotional contentment, giggliness, euphoria, grandiosity, over-emphasis, youthful teenager like behavior including energetic mania, and can also cause paranoia, psychosis, true mania and delusions including 'bugs-under-skin' delusions aka delusional parasitosis.
  5. Lead : Lead, chemical element Pb on the table of elements, is a prominent heavy metal that acts as an NMDA-glutamate antagonist/blocker, by doing this, and by binding strongly, Lead causes suppression of emotional capacity (by reducing glutamate), personality changes, antisocial behavior, delusions and often extreme aggression. It also induces cognitive impairment and increases risk of Parkinson's Disease (P.D) as well as Schizophrenia.
  6. Mercury : Mercury is a strong heavy metal, element Hg and plays a strong role in mental health state and is frequently elevated in states of Psychosis and progressive schizophrenia with increased severity of symptoms and / or treatment-resistant Psychotic episode.
  7. Arsenic : Arsenic induces oxidative stress, stops or significantly impairs cellular respiration/energy production and causes high blood pressure, internal bleeding, gut issues and in very high amounts, liver/kidney shut down, coma and death. Small amounts of arsenic in the body over time lead to hair loss, white marks (scratches) on nails inconsistent with nail coloring and not consistent with nail damage, and tends to cause Fatigue, headaches, feeling ill, not well, Psychotic, delirious, paranoid, nauseous and can also impair cognition/mood.
  8. Benadryl : Strong anti-histamines that also have anticholinergic effects have a higher risk than 'clean' antihistamines to cause Psychotic symptoms, and other mental health disturbances. Meaning, that benadryl due to it's 'extra' properties, has a higher propensity to cause psychosis because it is not purely an antihistamine.
  9. Riluzole : A glutamate-depleting agent that can cause Psychosis.
  10. Memantine : An Alzheimer's medication that typically takes a minimum of 3-5 weeks to confer any benefit. It can cause Psychosis or at the least, emotional detachment in susceptible individuals.

IN/Tags: toxins that induce psychosis, drugs that induce psychosis, chemicals that induce psychosis, toxins psychotic states, toxins that induce psychotic state, memantine induced psychosis, a case of memantine induced psychosis, can memantine cause psychosis?, psychosis emerging due to new medications, psychiatric illness related to medications, does mercury cause schizophrenia?

Supplements to Increase / Boost Alertness (Top 5 Alertness Increasing Supplements)

One thing that irritates me, and I'm sure it irritates most of those reading this blog, is that searching the Internet for a phrase like ''alertness increasing'' or ''energy-boosting supplements'' often comes up with very generic, and often unfounded sources. We see articles from sites like 'livestrong' and others, which often are very vague, and give more instructions on using supplements than providing proof they actually relate to the title in question.

When all else fails, who do you turn to? I turn to PubMed. The health line and public database of the NIH has consistently been a great place to find research and to validate certain supplements - now, it isn't perfect either, but at least studies like this one exist with a certain numeral code assigned to them.

So what we are looking at today, are proven ways (supplements) to increase alertness. Not energy, not motivation, but alertness. Being attentive, aware, aroused, and able to engage. Any activity, even something as trivial as watching TV demands some degree of alertness. If you want to enjoy it at least.

I want to pass off my knowledge to my readers, here.

| 5 Supplements Proven to Increase Alertness Significantly |
NOTE: As always, the numbers in the brackets are citations, click the numbers to see proof for the supplement in question.

  1. Modafanil / Adrafanil [1] [2] [3] : Modafanil isn't technically a supplement, but Adrafanil is. However, each of them are almost the same substance. Modafanil is actually a medication for narcolepsy and other vigilance disorders, which recently has been used as a 'smart-drug' for increasing readiness for Tests/Exams, for increasing reaction time, for enhancing math skills and for speeding up most memory processes. Now, while it hasn't been proven to increase intelligence per se, it has been proven to rapidly, and dramatically improve alertness in virtually everyone who takes it. Adrafanil, once ingested, converts into modafanil and modafanil then carries out most of it's alerting actions. Modafanil should be dosed at 100 mg to start, unless one is sensitive to stimulants, then 50 mg should be very gradually worked up to 100 mg and maybe 200 mg if necessary. Adrafanil should be dosed at 200 mg per day to start, gradually working up to 500-600 mg if necessary. Modafanil can be bought here @Napsgear, and Adrafanil can be bought at Ceretropic. Modafanil is pills, and adrafanil is powder.
  2. Korean Ginseng [4] [5] : Korean and Asian Ginseng (aka the ''Panax'' variety, panax ginseng) are among the most used supplements in the world. You probably recall them being spiked into Monster Energy Drinks, and that makes a good point, you aren't just getting the energy from the Caffeine but the complementary effects of Ginseng and Taurine which act as a fast ''pick-me-up''. Arizona Energy drinks, those cheap 99 cent drinks are spiked with Ginseng for energy, only the green and yellow ones labeled with it though. They are all popular, and for good reason. Ginseng works, it's proof is well-documented and well-liked in both providing energy and boosting alertness. It's also one of the cheapest supplements available, cheap and effective. Solgar & Barlowe's tend to be the highest quality and most cost-effective Ginseng brands.
  3. Caffeine [6] [7] : Now, in theory, Caffeine should have been second on this list, but so many people know about it that it wouldn't have made much of a surprise, plus, Ginseng tends to have more energizing qualities than Caffeine in many ways, if I could, I would rank them both on #2. Caffeine is the most reliable, cheap, and absolutely effective alertness booster on the planet. Only in that order though, it is reliable, it is cheap, and is an alertness booster. Is it stronger than modafanil and adrafanil? No. Does it do the job? Yes. There's no debating that, Caffeine will remain on this list and on everyone else's list, probably forever. ProLab & JetAlert are the most reliable brands.
  4. Piracetam [8] [9] : Piracetam is a true ''smart-drug'', it's uses and benefits have been proven time and time again, in both the aging and the young. Piracetam reliably improves memory, alertness, motivation and attention. It is the most commonly used memory-booster worldwide and has profound effects on mental well-being as it is taken. Long-term supplementation improves the integrity and health of multiple brain regions, improves nerve function in general, and may possess anti-depressant properties. I recommend Ceretropic's Piracetam.
  5. N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine [10] [11] : N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine, or NALT for short, is a efficiently absorbed ultra-potent version of the amino acid L-Tyrosine, which is used to increase brain dopamine levels. NALT is also a strong alertness booster, one that is lighter in nature compared to say, Caffeine and Modafanil, but one that substantially increases the effects and benefits of both of those drugs, one or the other. N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine should be dosed at 350 mg once a day to start, then working up to 1000 mg (1 gram) or more per day. Do not exceed 1,500 MG of N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine in any one day. I recommend PowderCity's N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine.

Area-1255's Adrenal Revival Stack (A Supplement Stack Intended to Support Adrenal Function and Correct Low Blood Pressure)

This stack is intended to correct adrenal insufficiency and normalize blood pressure in hypotensive individuals. It consists of 5 specific supplements which all work at different levels to restore adrenal function and to do so in a quick manner. These supplements are not drugs but should be discussed with a Physician prior to use. Only the person in question knows, or has access to their medical history.

  1. Caffeine + NALT (N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine) : This combination product by Ceretropic contains the perfect balance of Caffeine and N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine in a liquid solution. Caffeine boosts adrenal and nervous system function by blocking adenosine receptors [1] and NALT supports adrenal function by directly acting as a precursor to important hormones called catecholamines (pronounced, kat-uh-cole-uh-meens) [2] [3].
  2. Super Rhodiola : Super Rhodiola is not a traditional rhodiola rosea product, no, instead it is a unique combination of only two critical components from the herb; salidroside and tyrosol. Half-a-dropper once or twice a day can sufficiently improve adrenal function through it's critical components [4] [5].
  3. Vitamin C as Ester-C : Vitamin C, an important antioxidant, plays a critical role in adrenal health, and can be used to support the adrenal glands, specifically when it is included as a slow-release form such as Ester-C; which is more dynamic and improves adrenal function on multiple levels [6] [7].
  4. Vitamin D : An overlooked nutritional component that is still deficient in many American diets, in cold regions, deficiencies of this vitamin are rampant and the crucial adrenal supporting effects of this Vitamin become weak as levels wane. It should be supplemented in a liquid form for best absorption and 2000 IU's - 2500IU's should be a starting dose for those deficient or needing a serious boost in their mood and energy [8] [9]. For those living in cold regions, 3000 IU - 5000 IU ''loading dose'' may be necessary for the first few days or first week. Thereafter, adequate Vitamin D levels can be sustained at a daily dosage of 1200 IU's [10].
  5. Iodine : Unfortunately this mineral is still overlooked in modern days, and it's uses span beyond thyroid health and immune health, it also plays a vital role in CNS metabolic functions [11] reproductive functions [12] and especially, adrenal steroid synthesis and adrenal function/integrity [13]. The GHC & Alex Jones currently have the best Iodine product on the market. It's called Survival Shield x2

Supplements to Increase/Raise Blood Pressure (How to Treat Low Blood Pressure Naturally) (Treat Hypotension with Supplements)

Low blood pressure is often a tricky problem to treat, since there are multiple causes and since medications tend to interact in different (often complex) ways with blood pressure. One may think that their low blood pressure, or hypotension is caused by a medication, when in fact it may be something as simple as dehydration, or the other way around. Either way, consistently low blood pressure (resting) and postural hypotension (orthostatic hypotension), which is low blood pressure upon standing or changing position, are both medical concerns, which, if untreated, may in some individuals negatively impact the Brain, Heart and Kidneys [1] [2] [3]

Now, if one does not present with any of the following symptoms, low blood pressure may not be a significant concern, unless it falls below 80/55.

Typically, symptoms of low blood pressure are the following.

  • Excess sweating [4].
  • Cold, clammy hands [5].
  • Dizziness [6].
  • Fainting [7].
  • Fatigue/Lethargy [8].
  • Sudden increase in heart rate upon standing [9].
  • Feeling unusually hot or cold [10].

Often, the reasons for low blood pressure are one or more of the following.

  1. Insufficient water intake [11].
  2. Insufficient salt intake [12].
  3. Adrenal Fatigue [13].
  4. Low Fat Intake (saturated fat, unsaturated lesser so) [14].
  5. Medications [15].
  6. Low red blood cell count, Anemia [16].
  7. Low levels of Vitamin B12 in the blood [17].

Considering the above, the most obvious remedies for low blood pressure would be.

  1. Increasing water intake [18].
  2. Adding sea salt, himalaya salt or celtic salt to the diet. A quarter of a teaspoon may be sufficient for some, added to water or foods [19] [20].
  3. Supplements to reboot the adrenal glands, follow my Adrenal Revival Stack [21] [22] [23].
  4. Increasing fat intake, eat more eggs, drink whole organic milk, such as this brand [24].
  5. Supplement with Sublingual Vitamin B12 if deficient.
  6. For medications, talk to your Doctor about switching to a medication that is blood-pressure sparing or has less influence on resting blood pressure, there may also be supplements that can help boost blood pressure, but it depends on why you are taking the medication in the first place [25].

For beta-blockers, if taken for Anxiety, the best action is to either reduce the dosage or switch to a lighter medication. Some may find Gabapentin to have less of an effect on blood pressure and equal benefit in treating anxiety.

INCREASING BLOOD PRESSURE RELIABLY WITH SUPPLEMENTS

If other methods fail, a supplement called Yohimbine may work very well.
--> I recommend Primaforce Yohimbine. It is 99.99% purity. It is pure yohimbine, pharmaceutical yohimbine, not yohimbe bark or herbal yohimbine.
DOSE DIRECTIONS : For orthostatic hypotension or low blood pressure, Yohimbine (not yohimbe bark) should be taken at 2.5 mg - 5 mg twice or three times a day. Consult a Physician prior to use. Read studies below.

It has been studied for orthostatic hypotension in large double-blind placebo-controlled studies on multiple occasions, and has consistently been beneficial in treating all forms of low blood pressure.

Caffeine at 200 MG 1-3 times per day, each dose spaced about 4-6 hours apart may also be very helpful in bringing up a low blood pressure [26] [27] [28] [29].

There is some evidence that Licorice root tea's and supplements may treat low blood pressure caused by adrenal insufficiency.

My recommended high-potency licorice tea is listed below.

Natural / Herbal Tryptophan Hydroxylase Inhibitors (Supplements to Block/Reduce TPH in Brain)

As always Area-1255 is here with another project of Innovation. This time we are going to discuss tryptophan-hydroxylase inhibitor supplements. That is, the only supplements on Earth studied to actually decrease the amount of serotonin being produced in the brain by directly inhibiting the serotonin producing enzyme tryptophan hydroxylase

There are a few reasons we would look to ''inactivate'' or 'inhibit' tryptophan hydroxylase (TPH).

  1. Some people are naturally born with more serotonin or less breakdown of serotonin, this can lead to disorders like Social Phobia [1], Obsessive-Compulsive-Disorder [2], as well as cognitive dysfunction [3] and Anorexia [4] [5]. In susceptible individuals, of course, so therefore, TPH-Inhibitors may be of interest in those looking to try a natural alternative before switching to a synthetic compound.
  2. TPH-Inhibitors may help delay or reduce fatigue and exercise-induced fatigue [6] [7], thus they are of value to those trying to increase their fitness level and consistency.
  3. TPH-Inhibitors may improve libido and sexual functions in men and women [8] [9].
These are the most prominent uses for TPH inhibitors but they are not limited by these uses. There are still many investigative uses that could be relevant, but for our purposes and for the herbs we are describing, these are the most notable.

There are really only 3 `real` tryptophan hydroxylase inhibitors that are over-the-counter, do not require a prescription, and are EASILY obtainable.

1.) Eleuthero Root Extract [!] (Also known as "Siberian Ginseng" and by botanical names of Eleutherococcus senticosus & Acanthopanax senticosus).

Pro's
  • It boosts energy fairly reliably.
  • It is significant enough that it is put in many energy drinks.
  • It seems to definitely delay fatigue and increase endurance.
  • It increases social aggressiveness when taken long-term.
  • It has a stimulating effect on the mind.
Con's.
  • It can cause Insomnia.
  • It can increase anxiety if too high a dose is taken.
  • It has pro-adrenaline effects as well as anti-serotonin.
  • It causes constipation in some people.
  • It can increase cortisol.

Read this paper on it as well.

You can buy the herb extract in capsules HERE.

2.) Arginine Nitrate; L-Arginine blocks hypothalamic serotonin induced or activated by IL-1B (Interleukin-1β) [!] and it helps produce nitric oxide which directly inactivates tryptophan hydroxylase [!!].

I would buy a product like PES High Volume which is an overall nitric-oxide booster ("pump product") and has a lot of other stuff (+arginine nitrate) that helps increase physical, sexual and mental performance plus it tastes like cotton candy :-)  .

3.) Paeonia Radix Extract (Bai Shao Yao) [!] : One of the more powerful herbal tryptophan-hydroxylase inhibitors out there, about on par with eleuthero but without the adrenergic activity. It can be bought primarily as a tea or decotion which is easily digested and tastes fair, not tasty, but fair, tolerable. CLICK HERE to Buy it.

I haven't really heard of a whole lot of people who have used it for this purpose so it's a bit difficult to list a bunch of pro's and con's but given the constituents of the herb it definitely seems to be more clean and linear in terms of it's mechanism of action.

The only concern would be that at higher-doses only it may have some estrogen-like effects.
